LATONYA HILL
A Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and graduate of Southern Illinois University at Carbondale with a Master's degree in Counseling, LaTonya has over 20yrs of experience in providing behavioral health services in schools and in the community.
This experience includes serving as the Outpatient Services Coordinator for a community-based mental health center providing crisis intervention and stabilization services, post psychiatric hospitalization transition & linkage support, individual & group therapy, diagnostic assessment and providing daily clinical and performance supervision to a multi-disciplinary team of managers, screeners, case aides, case managers and students within the departments.
Most recently serving as the family support counselor and Director of Family and Community Engagement for a local school network where she is charged with working with school leadership, staff, and parents to design, implement, and support school practices and specific programs to promote a healthy social and emotional learning environment.
She further serves as a lead on the network’s crisis team, provides professional development to school staff related to cultural competency, resiliency, parent engagement, and trauma while also serving as a Field instructor for graduate level interns for the University of Chicago's Crown Family School of Social Work.
